Auditorium concerts take place at the old Spencer High School Auditorium, 104 East Fourth Street (formerly known as the “Old Middle School Auditorium”).

Individual tickets available at Arts on Grand or at the door on the evening of the performance.

Thomas Pandolfi
Into the Night with Gershwin

American pianist Thomas Pandolfi is emerging as a prodigious virtuoso who excels in reviving the core repertoire from the “Golden Age of Pianism.” His all‑Gershwin program will include the solo version of his own song medley improvisation and the solo version of Rhapsody in Blue.

Jeff Newell’s
New-Trad Octet

Combining instruments and elements of traditional New Orleans brass bands with those of modern jazz groups, the New-Trad Octet explores the early sources of our nation’s musical heritage and combine these influences in ways that speak to and excite modern audiences.

The Concert That Never Was

Barbra Streisand and Frank Sinatra never shared the stage, but what if they had? Sharon Owens and Sebastian Anzaldo bring their Las Vegas hit show to Spencer for one night only — but what a night it will be! A highlight of the show is a delicate blending of two of their signature songs as Sinatra croons verses from “It Was A Very Good Year” intertwined with Streisand’s memorable “The Way We Were.”

One of Opera Iowa’s most popular shows, The Magic Flute returns after an absence of ten years. This is the perfect opera to delight and dazzle audiences of all ages. Sung in English.
